At API Maker, accessible from https://apimaker.dev, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by API Maker and how we use it.
If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.
This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website about the information that they shared and/or collect in API Maker. This policy does not apply to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.
If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.
When you register for an Account, we will ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number, which will be used to issue a license for the product.
We use the information we collect in various ways, including :
API Maker follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and are a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Like any other website, API Maker uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
This website and docs.apimaker.dev use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, and Ahrefs Web Analytics, to count visits, the pages people read and where they come from. We use them to learn which pages help and which do not. We show no ads.
Pages load fonts, icons and scripts from public CDNs (cdnjs, jsDelivr, Google Fonts), the demo calendar comes from Calendly, and videos from our own server: like any web request, these services receive your IP address.
Each service has its own privacy policy, for example Google and Calendly. You can refuse cookies in the settings of your browser.
An API Maker server checks its licence with our licence server (sava.be.apimaker.dev): once a minute or two after it starts, every day around noon (India time), every four hours while a check gets no answer, and when a key is changed. It sends the licence key, the MAC addresses and the number of CPU cores of the machine, and nothing else.
It sends no data of your databases, APIs, logs, code or users, and no usage analytics. A server on the free key of API Maker Launchpad sends nothing. The check never stops a server: a licence problem is only shown in the admin panel.
API Maker's Privacy Policy does not apply to other websites. Consult the privacy policies of the services named above for their practices and how to opt out of them.
You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, it can be found on the browsers' respective websites.
